CVPro Zambia (“we”, “our”, or “us”), operated by Glamified Systems, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit https://cvprozambia.com and use our CV-building services.

By using CVPro Zambia, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Personal details for your CV: full name, email address, phone number, physical address, city, and country
  • Professional information: job titles, work experience, education history, skills, certifications, and references
  • Profile photo (if you choose to upload one)
  • Cover letter content and target job information
  • Contact form submissions: name, email address, and message

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

  • IP address (used solely for rate limiting our AI services)
  • Browser type and operating system (standard web server logs)
  • Pages visited and time spent on the site (anonymised analytics)

2.3 Payment Information

Payments are processed by Lenco, a third-party payment provider. We do not store your payment card details, Mobile Money PIN, or bank account credentials. Lenco’s own privacy policy and security practices govern how your payment data is handled.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To generate and display your CV in real-time within the builder
  • To provide AI-powered writing suggestions for your CV sections and cover letter
  • To process payments and confirm your plan purchase
  • To respond to your contact form enquiries
  • To improve our service, fix bugs, and enhance user experience
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not use your personal data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or share it with employers or recruiters without your explicit consent.

4. Data Storage

Your CV data is stored locally in your browser’s localStorage using Zustand persistence. This means:

  • Your data remains on your device and is not automatically uploaded to our servers
  • Clearing your browser data or using a different browser will erase your stored CV
  • We recommend downloading your CV as a PDF to keep a permanent copy

Contact form messages are transmitted to us via Resend (our email delivery provider) and stored in our email inbox for the purpose of responding to you.

5. AI Processing

When you use AI-powered features (professional summary, skills suggestions, cover letter generation, etc.), portions of your CV data are sent to our AI service provider for processing. This data is used solely to generate your requested content and is not retained by the AI provider beyond the immediate request.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services:

  • Lenco — payment processing (ZMW Mobile Money, card payments)
  • Resend — transactional email delivery for contact form submissions
  • AI inference provider — powering CV writing suggestions

Each third party operates under its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to avoid including sensitive personal identifiers (such as national ID numbers) in your CV data unless strictly necessary.

8. Cookies

CVPro Zambia uses only essential cookies required for the site to function, including theme preferences (dark/light mode). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (note: CV data in localStorage can be cleared directly by you)
  • Withdraw consent at any time by discontinuing use of the service
